Event Consultant Position

Position Duties:

  • Assist events industry professionals, companies, not-for-profits and event holders in placing rental orders
  • Make changes to (revise) existing rental orders
  • Provide guidance and make suggestions to assist in the order placement process (and maximize rental revenue)
  • Meet with event pro’s and event holders within a Premiere showroom
  • Connect, upon request and approval, with event pro’s and event holders outside the showroom environment
  • Become an involved and contributing member of the Austin / Central Texas special events community
  • Be conversant with the latest event design trends
  • Work cooperatively with company administration, management staff and coworkers

Position Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles helpful
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence
  • Well developed organizational and time management skills 
  • Good written and verbal communication ability
  • Ability to remain comfortable in fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to changing circumstances
  • Team-player mentality
  • Tolerant and accepting of all people
