Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Austin! I just can’t get enough of my hometown.

Did you attend college? If so, where?
I attended the University of North Texas in Denton, where I studied Hospitality Management. Go Mean Green!

How long have you been in the events industry?
I’ve been in the event industry since 2011. I started at a venue called Circle R Ranch doing banquet serving, and have been in love with the event industry ever since. I’ve worked with corporate, government, association, and social events, and lots and lots of weddings.

What are three interesting facts about yourself?

Crafting and working with my hands is my stress release. I love learning new skills and my favorites are modern calligraphy, watercolor, and paper crafting.

I am obsessed with cats. I have one named Mischa and she is purrrfection. One of my old friends even printed and laminated a massive poster of her that I still have hanging in my house.

I love the holidays and the winter season and would listen to Christmas music year round if people would let me. I unintentionally started an annual gift-wrapping war between my sister, cousin, and I, where we compete for who wrapped their gifts the most creatively.

What is your job title and description?
I am an Event Rental Consultant at the Dripping Springs Showroom half the week and the South Showroom the other half. I’m also a Special Administrative Assistant to Delores and Angela, helping with special projects and managing our Accounts Receivable.

What is your favorite thing about the events industry?
I love seeing all the new designs and finding ways to utilize our rentals in unique ways to make each event different. The design trends are ever-changing!
