A Little More About Delores…
With her family, Delores Crum, CERP, owns and helps operate Premiere’s wedding and event rental companies. Founded in November 2000, by Delores and her husband Richard, Premiere has become a leading party and event rental provider. Nationally recognized and frequently honored for its work, Premiere provides full-service rental and related support to Event Professionals and Individual Event Holders. Delores describes her organizational role as providing overall company leadership, helping chart the Premiere course, and setting Premiere’s general direction. As President and Chief Culture Officer, Delores is the “glue” that holds the Premiere family together.
Delores is involved with and supportive of the Events Community. She has served as ILEA-Austin president and was the first-ever inductee into the ILEA-Austin Hall of Fame. Delores has held 5 different roles on the NACE-Austin Board and has received multiple “Member of the Year” honors Past president of the Texas Rental Association, in 2007 Delores became the second female ever to hold that office. Delores was twice named TRA “Person of the Year” and named Region IV Rental Person of the Year as well. Nationally, Delores Crum has served as a Foundation Trustee for the American Rental Association and on the ARA PAC Council. Delores was awarded ARA’s highest honor, outside of induction into the Rental Hall of Fame, when she accepted the “Volunteer Service Award” at the 2016 ARA Rental Show. Ms. Crum is a past member of the American Rental Association Board and holds national NACE office as a Foundation of NACE (FON) Trustee. Delores has also served on the Wedding Association of the Brazos Valley Board, and in 2020, served as President of that organization. In 2022, Delores and the Premiere team were instrumental in forming the BCS Chapter of NACE, where Delores served as the organization’s first President.
Delores has 3 passions – work, travel, and philanthropy. Wine, she admits, is a very close 4th. A self-proclaimed workaholic, Type AAA personality, Delores loves being productive, innovative, and helpful in the Premiere context. Delores and Richard have visited all 50 US Capital cities, all 10 Canadian Provincial Capitals, and 20 foreign countries. Seeing as many European Capitals as time allows is next on their bucket list. Delores and Premiere are passionate supporters of numerous local charitable groups. Delores has served as Board President member for Bryan-College Station Voices for Children | (CASA) of the Brazos Valley, serves on the Community Council of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Central Texas, and is a member of the RMHC Board and Governance Committee Chair. Mrs. Crum is also a published author. Her debut book, Simple Success Strategies: Live the Live You Deserve was published in January 2019. In 2021, Delores published Magic, Money and Meaning: Crafting a Prosperous and Purposeful Life. Both books are available at Amazon.com.
